Validation

Whenever the Quadri Model is changed it is validated by some basic validation rules listed here. These validations check if the model is in line with the most basic model rules. This includes rules related to the feature type definitions and how the feature's geometry is modeled.

Examples

If a model passes all basic validations this does not mean that the model is free of any defects; it just means that it has passed all the basic validations and that the model is at a minimum level of quality.

More discipline-specific validations like clash detection, sight distance control, noise analysis, etc, are not part of the basic validations. To have a good and usable model, it should also pass validations like that.
