Quadri 2024.1

This update is also included into Novapoint 2024.1.

General

In this version we are changing the naming convention - this release will be named Quadri 2024.1, to indicate that it´s the first version of 2024.

Please note: The versions supported now include: 2022, 2023 and 2024. We strongly recommend that you update to the latest version (2024). Versions prior to 2022 are no longer supported.

Topics

• NEW: Introducing Quadri BCF Topics Tools - a few Quadri specific aspects of the BCF Topics tool is addressed in a separate toolspace in the bottom of the Topics pane. Learn more about Quadri BCF Topics Tools 

• ENHANCED: Now supporting the feature Link Model Objects inside Quadri for Windows

• FIXED:  Clicking a view does not trigger a zoom into the view

Explorer

• FIXED: Explorer not always updating for re-import, where it sometimes needed a refresh to see the correct results.

Import

• ENHANCEMENT: Inserting WMS to support handeling more than one layers at the same time, since some WMS providers limits to how many layers they support.

• FIXED: Import of .las files fails, if you have norwegian letters Æ, Ø, Å in the folder name or path, where the .las file is located.

• FIXED: For a multifile import - when re-importing a single task belonging to a multi-filemport, features are lost. 

• FIXED: Issue with multi import of .xtr files.

• FIXED: When inserting WFS, the CRS which matches model CRS is not added to selectable list. 

Modelling

• NEW: "Run as batch" for Ground Surface task

• ENHANCEMENT: Extrude finish speed.

• FIXED: NOT condition not working with genericProperties in Automation Tool.

Presentations

• ENHANCEMENT: Text along W&S objects, was shown placed wrong place in the Default presentation rule.

• FIXED: When using Cector Symbol renderhandler, the 3D elevation setting is in some cases at zero elevation, even when toggled on.

• FIXED: Some inserted ortofotos looks distorted when viewing them in 3D.

Presentation Rule Editor

• FIXED: When opening a Presentation rule in Presentation Rule Editor, checkboxes are not set.

• FIXED: Pasting in a node i the three, pastes it at a random place (usually at the sesond from the top spot).

• FIXED: Clicking to select text attributes in Text renderlandler gives error.

• FIXED: When inserting a Theme, you can't remove it later.

• FIXED: When clicking Add Theme, the filter shows Projection field with 3D as default. There are no Theme rules that are 3D only.

Output

IFC 4.3

• NEW: Support for IFC 4.3.2.0 schema (IFC4X3_ADD2) <Conversion Rules Editor>
