Unable to delete loose objects
During share operations, Quadri for Windows collects so called "Loose objects" into a collection task, named "Username: Loose objects". These are objects that do not have any parents, which should never happen. Such objects can and should be deleted, to avoid performance issues. However, some times deleting them can be difficult.
If you get a message that the results can not be deleted, because there are associations from other objects that are not reserved, you can try one of the following:
If you can reserve the whole project, try that and then try to delete again
Try to release the “Loose objects” task, then reserve it again and try to delete it.
Look in the "process" window, there should be a message there saying which object can not be deleted and which task it belongs to. Reserve that task and try again.
If the message in the process window says that the object is the "result of task '' " (blank task name), it means that object itself is a loose object. To delete this "loose objects" task, try to show it in a plan view, select everything in the plan view and press <Delete>. Then you can try to delete the task again.
If that doesn't help either and the task contains many objects, you need to contact Support to have us delete this task for you.
