Change CRS

If you realize that you need to change the CRS of a project already established in Connect with Civil Extension, you need to check if this requires any coordinate conversion.

Yes, the coordinates are in the CRS that is currently set in Connect and Civil Extension, but we want to change to another CRS:

In a project A using Civil Extension, you can not change the CRS of an already etablished project if you have to convert the coordinates of already established objects in the model. You will have to:

• establish a new project B with correct CRS (both for Connect and Civil Extension)

• download a workset of project A. Find out where it is located: Find the Location of a Workset

• close workset A

• download a workset of project B

• use "import" to import workset A into B, by selecting the QuadriModel file located where the workset is located

• after selecting the file, select the correct CRS conversion
