Unable to select wanted CRS

If you are trying to set a CRS for your project in Civil Design and Collaboration Extension, but do not see it in the list of CRS's, be aware of the following:

• You first have to make an AOI (Area Of Interest).

• The system will then calculate a center point of this AOI-polygon.

• Then it will find a certain number of the closest CRS's which are valid for that point.

• The list will show only those CRS's, not all that are valid within your AOI.

• If you want to select an AOI that is not in the list, you have to edit your AOI so there are not so many hits. After selecting your CRS, you can then edit your AOI to the one you want.

Note that this can be done even to select a CRS that in principle is not valid for your AOI! Just draw an AOI within the valid range of the CRS, select it and then edit your AOI to the one you want.
