IFC 4.3

NEW: Properties for Spatial Entities, modeled as tasks in Quadri, are now supported with the use of Trimble Connect Property Sets.

NEW: Release of IFC 4.3 Feature Catalogue, ver. 4.40:
- Reorganized property sets for the IFC-schema attributes
- Removed extra name attribute for material and classification entities
NEW: Colors on surfaces, including surface patches, and boundaries are now imported and shown in models based on IFC 4.3 FC. These color properties are exposed in the Property View and included in the exported IFC-files when using standard conversion-files.
Some IFC-files must be re-imported to activate this functionality. Use the standard presentation rule "ColorFromGeometry" to view the colors.
NEW: The Sub Surface tool is now working for models based on the IFC 4.3 feature catalogue.
ENHANCEMENT: The default geometry representation is now IfcClosedShell and not IfcFixedReferenceSweptAreaSolid for IFC 4 and IFC 4.3 export.
ENHANCEMENT: The geometry correction option on the Geometry Representation page in the IFC Export Settings dialog is now available also for IFC 2X3.
ENHANCEMENT: The system now automatically calculates and exports the base geometry quantities by selecting the quantity takeoff TRMB_QUADRI_Qto_BaseQuantities on the Property Set page in the IFC Export Settings dialog.
ENHANCEMENT: For IFC 4.3 Import/Export: The global insertion point is now marked in already opened 3D- and plan-views and for the preview.

Terrain Tool

NEW: Added new function "Fillsink Info" - displays the volume and depth of Fillsink Basins

Design Tool

NEW: Analyzes a Road Model and calculates how water will impact a proposed solution, including tools to identify potential areas exposed to flooding. One can also input Virtual Objects - e.g. culverts and analyze if it has the desired effect.

Runoff

NEW: Both the Terrain Tool and the Design Tool supports calculations of Peak Runoffs from Watersheds using the Rational Method. The underlying information, like runoff coefficients, rainfall intensity etc., is setup using this tool.

Presentation
